The hotel is conveniently located within a short walk to the city centre, and also close to a hospital. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. the buffet breakfast and choice of evening meals are both great, and the hotel has a lovely pool, sauna and spa area to enjoy.

The hotel's WiFi connection can be spotty at times, only working in certain areas such as close to reception or in the hallway, and not always in the guest rooms.

We stayed at Hotel Mitterhofer with friends and family for a week around New Year's Eve. The hotel had a nice mix of professionalism and friendliness, making our stay enjoyable. The service was excellent, with special thanks to Istvan for his pleasant dinner service and wine suggestions. The food, especially the NYE dinner, was lavish and delicious. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch. We also loved the bar and community/music room for socializing, and the location, just a 5-minute walk from the ski lifts.

We had a fantastic time at this place! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hotel itself was luxurious, with clean and comfortable rooms that had all the amenities we needed, including a balcony and sitting area. The free toiletries were a nice touch. We also loved the on-site restaurant and bar area, where we enjoyed delicious meals and drinks.

Almost perfect.

Our xmas vacation was amazing thanks to the cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and the great access to winter sports activities. the skiing slopes were just a stone's throw away from the hotel, and the ski facilities had heated boot racks - such a great advantage. Another plus was the beautifully designed pool and sauna area where we were able to relax and enjoy the lovely mountain views.

On the negative side, the Wi-Fi connection was slow and sometimes overloaded, which was somewhat frustrating. the rooms could have been a bit more spacious, especially the bathrooms, which felt a bit cramped.

The Mitterhofer hotel in Schladming exceeded my expectations in every way. the location was fantastic, with our room facing the beautiful mountain side offering breathtaking views. It was a perfect way to relax after a long day of exploring the surrounding area. Lastly, the room arrangement worked perfectly for my family, with the kids having their own separate sleeping area.

This minor inconvenience might seem trivial, but it would have added a touch of luxury to the experience.

The owners, Matteus and his wife, were always there to address any issues and their commitment to customer satisfaction was evident. We felt welcomed and valued during our stay.

That the rooms were quite cold, especially the floors, which made it uncomfortable to walk around without shoes on. the outdoor pool was not very useful as the water was not warm enough to swim in.
